Corvus Project

About

Corvus project started in 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The project met the works of NadArt and k0ch, working with dance, performance, movement, interactive technologies, generative/algorithmic art and sound, using as medium video art and interactive installations.

Interactive Installations / Live Performances

In 2015, the group started working on interactive installations and live performances. Technologically, was focused on creating guerrilla installations: fast to setup and easy to transport, using small movement sensors and projectors. Also, the movement sensors does not limit the performer movement like a motion capture suit can do.

k0ch

Interdisciplinary artist based in Spain. Programmer and crypto artist.

k0ch was born in 1989 in Mar Del Plata, Argentina. His first approach to art was through drawing and music. He started several music projects between 2005 and 2010, always in an experimental field.

The computer was always his tool. He started to study software development and programming in 2010. This allowed him to start with algorithmic and generative art, his principal medium since those days. Anyway, he works in diverse fields, from poetry to sound. Most of the works are focused on our relationship with technology as humanity.

k0ch’s work combines the beauty of nature with the artificial decay of big cities, represented by organic algorithms that grow like neon lights in the middle of concrete. He is inspired by internet culture, dystopian/sci-fi films, old video-games, punk, mathematics and generative art.

He is a pioneer in the emerging world of CryptoArt and NFTs in Argentina and is part of original members of CryptoArg. His works have been displayed in several physical places (Buenos Aires, Madrid, New York) and in the metaverse. He has collaborated with several artists and sold his NFTs artworks on platforms such as Superrare, Artblocks, Foundation, Rarible, Nifty Gateway and Async Art.

NadArt

Interdisciplinary artist based in Spain. Dancer and crypto artist.

Nadia Abrego, also known as NadArt on crypto, was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina where she started a professional dance career when she was a child in Norma Fontela’s Dance school. She moved to Buenos Aires in 2014 where she continued studying with relevant dancers, working on different projects as well as teaching contemporary dance.

Most of her works are inspired by her childhood and younger years in a cold windy city and the colors that she use to see in the sky, the movements and the fierceness of the Atlantic ocean and the solitude of the land.

NadArt’s artwork combines dance performance, generative art, illustration and motion graphics on digital NFTs videos as in interactive installations; she is a pioneer in the emerging world of NFTs in Argentina and is part of original members of CryptoArg.

She was named by BeInCrypto on International Women’s Day 2021 as one of the most influential women in the NFT industry. Her works have been displayed in several physical places (Buenos Aires, Madrid, New York) and in the metaverse in MOCA museum and KnownOrigin spaces. She has collaborated with several artists and sold her NFTs artworks on platforms such as KnownOrigin, Foundation, Rarible, Nifty Gateway and Async Art.

As a dancer and multidisciplinary artist, she adapts her works to new contexts using technological elements and creating new scenarios, experimenting with her movements in different ways. Currently she is focused on CryptoArt and interactive installations.
